SCHEDULE

ASANA

Align the body and purify the internal organs, increase flexibility and strength, and develop bodily awareness. Mornings are reserved for dynamic Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga and afternoons for different workshops. All levels of practitioners are welcome as we approach each student's needs individually.

PRANAYAMA

Get in touch with the primordial movement of life and vital rhythms by learning how to work with different stages of the breath. Pranayama cleanses and puts your nervous system under control. It serves as the bridge between physical existence and the mind as it cleanses perception and prepares you for deep concentration and meditation.

MEDITATION

Silence is a superpower, and meditation is a core practice of yoga. It’s mental hygiene necessary to calm down the fluctuations of thought patterns. It puts you into deep contact with your being. Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping and is preparing you for deep rest during the night.

KRIYAS AND AYURVEDA

Each morning you will have an excellent opportunity to cleanse your respiratory and digestive system by practicing traditional yogic kriyas, learn how to use them daily and maintain healthy habits. Prepare for Ayurvedic treatments in the afternoon or learn simple but powerful self-healing practices. These are the foundations of our detoxification program.

tradition and science

Ancient Yogis believed that in order for man to be in balance and harmony with himself and his environment, he has to integrate the body, mind, and spirit. For the three to be integrated, emotion, action, and intelligence will need to be in balance. They created a way to achieve and maintain this balance through exercise, breathing, and meditation which form the three main pillars of Yoga structures.

Modern day science confirms that the practice of yoga has tangible physical health benefits that include improved brain function and nervous system strength as well as immune health and reduced stress. More and more mainstream medical practices are using yoga therapy, as growing research shows how it aids recovery, especially from stress-induced conditions, and improves overall health and vitality.

With 16 years of expertise in running successful Yoga studios and many years of experience in working with retreat participants, Marco and Petra are honored to welcome you. Their experience is based on both, traditional and scientific approach on working with the main pillars of Yoga. Being intrigued by both, traditional overview and scientific approach, they are successfully integrating both perspectives on Yoga and the way how it can be taught today.
